This is an original high capacity Canon CLi-571 black ink cartridge. Filled with 11ml Canon's ChromaLife100 ink the CLi-571 black cartridge can produce up to 810 10x15cm colour photos. This ink is a dye based ink which is best for printing photo's as it sinks into the page to allow all the colours to merge and create super colour reproductions. The CLi-571XL black cartridge is physically the same size as the regular cartridge it just holds more ink in, so don't worry it will fit in and work the same.

Replacing the empty cartridge is simple and won't take long at all. Open the cover of the printer and wait for the cartridges to stop still to begin. Squeezing the clip on the side of the cartridge will let you lift it out, the new one can then be sat in its place and then pushed down until it clicks into place.
